We take pride in ensuring your Motorhome is clean, checked, and full of fuel ready for your arrival on handover day. Our spacious site enables us to safely handover the vehicle, walk you through your Motorhome and answer any questions you may have about the vehicle prior to your departure. Once all the necessary paperwork checks are carried out and all is in order, the Motorhome is yours. You’re ready to go, we’ll wave you off on your wonderful travels.  If you like you can leave your car on site for the duration of your booking with us, at your own risk, it is gated with CCTV, so we’ll leave that decision up to you.

Once you have confirmed your booking, we will require the following documents in the name of the person driving before the motorhome hire can go ahead, failure to provide these may result in the booking being cancelled using the terms of the cancellation policy:

Driving Licence – no more than two three-point convictions will be accepted. 

DVLA check my licence code – so we can check for convictions.

2 proof of address documents – these must match the address on the driving licence, ie. Bank statement, Utility bill, HMRC correspondence etc.

For overseas hirers we will also require a copy of the driver's passport and proof of driving convictions from the relevant country's driving association.

Driver must be aged between 25 & 75 and have at least 2 years driving experience.

All documents are to be sent by email on request.

Our depot is open between the hours of 8am and 8pm for collection or drop off. Please allow at least 1 hour before closing time for handovers to take place.

For hires arriving from overseas we are happy to arrange taxis from local airports at an extra charge, please ask for the charge before confirming your booking.

Assurance
Insurance The vehicle is insured for theft and damage to the vehicle and the property of a third party; but does not include any personal insurance for the customer (including death or bodily injury to the driver) or cover any personal possessions. The hire rate quoted includes a standard excess of £1500.00 per accident, reported incident or vehicle theft. In the event of any damage to either the vehicle or third party property, the hirer will be liable for the first £1500.00 per claim. In the event of the theft of the vehicle, the hirer will be liable for the full cost of the vehicle; once a theft has been reported to both Tripz.uk and the police, a claim will be lodged with the insurer. The keys must be returned to Tripz.uk. Should the insurer accept the claim and agrees to reimburse Tripz.uk for the cost of the vehicle, the liability to the hirer will reduce to the first £1500.00 of the claim (excess). Please note: if the keys are not returned to Tripz.uk, the insurer will not accept the claim and liability for the full cost of the vehicle will remain with the hirer. Only persons named on the rental agreement are insured to drive the Vehicle. Please note that no insurance cover (including CDW) is offered for overhead damage, any damaged deemed as gross negligence, or any internal damages, therefore the hirer accepts fully liability for these which is in addition to the standard vehicle excess should that apply. Windscreens and /or tyre damage is not covered by the standard vehicle insurance and therefore excess, however collision damage waiver (CDW) does cover these items, (conditions apply), please see section 25 of our terms and conditions, collision damage waiver (CDW) for further details. Tripz.uk will only be responsible should damage to personal possessions or bodily injury occur (including death) as a result of proven gross negligence on Tripz.uk’s part i.e. our actions or failure to act. Tripz.uk will not be responsible for any loss which is a side effect of the main loss e.g., loss of profits or opportunity. This is separate from the vehicle insurance provided.

Paiement sécurisé
Lorsque vous payez sur Yescapa, la rémunération du propriétaire du véhicule est conservée sur un porte-monnaie unique et sécurisé jusqu’au lendemain de votre départ en location. Ainsi, pas de mauvaise surprise, le propriétaire vous accueille le jour du départ pour préparer vos premiers pas avec son véhicule. Quelques jours plus tard, la rémunération arrive sur le compte bancaire du propriétaire.

Garantie au départ
Si vous ne pouvez pas débuter votre location en raison d’une panne du véhicule ou pour un motif lié au propriétaire, notre équipe vous proposera d’autres véhicules répondant à vos critères de voyage, ou vous serez intégralement remboursé.
